Part of our six-monthly check-up maintenance program is cleaning and scaling to remove tartar built-ups for healthy gums. It also helps to detect small decay between the teeth. In house X-ray examination is also available in case that is necessary. There are two kinds of oral X-rays: panoramic and small intraoral for individual teeth and offer them both here at Cyprus Happy Smile.
A fluoride application will assist in reduction of dental decay and decrease the sensitivity of your teeth.
Dental sealants are recommended to prevent decay on occlusal surfaces of molars and premolars of children permanent back teeth. Sealants are plastic coatings that are placed on the grooves and fissures of the chewing surfaces to prevent the impaction of plaque that can lead to decay.
